Hey there weekday warriors,
A few months back I rolled out the F*CK ZUCK TWC REFERRAL PROGRAM.
For those of you who scrolled past it (shame on you), the idea was pretty simple...
I can either pay Zuck to continue growing The Water Coolest (think: IG and FB ads) or I can give that money to you guys. Like Ash Ketchum, I chose you.
Of course, it isn’t lost on me that most of you are probably doing ok/too well-off to be incentivized by a few bucks. So, instead, I decided to send the $$$ to a charity.
This month, you guys chose The Shriner’s Hospital, which helps kids with major health issues live more fulfilling lives. If you haven’t seen their TV ads, Google it.
So, how’d we do?
You guys raised $154 for The Shriner’s Hospital by referring 154 people to TWC this month.
This little man thanks you. And so do I.
(Also, my bad for dedicating it to you guys like you’re dead or something)
That said…
$154 seems kinda weak. I was really hoping we’d have at least 1-comma in that number.
Hand up, I haven’t been great about promoting this every day, but, I think we can do better.
So, let’s pump those numbers up this month.
